Attention New Castle County High School Seniors – 5, $1000 Academic Scholarships are available & open for submission.  Bennie Smith Funeral Home awareded 5 Scholarships to incoming HS Seniors in New Castle County in 2019, took a hiatus in 2020 during the pandemic, and is returning the Scholarship Fund in 2021!  The scholarships are given and organized by Bennie Smith Funeral Home’s Wilmington office.  High School Seniors need only email their name, address & phone/email, current High School, and a short statement about their future plans.  If selected, our BSFH representative will contact the student’s current school to vouch for their enrollment & that the school may note on their records, the scholarship for end-of-year awards.

5 – $1000 Scholarships are available to start the school year!  “We enjoy giving the scholarships to incoming high school seniors at the beginning of the year as it’s a great motivator for students to excel their last year, apply for more scholarships during the year, and get excited about their next chapter in higher learning,” said Bennie Smith, CEO of Bennie Smith Funeral Home.
