Mr. Smith –

I wanted to take time to thank you and your staff for the planning and services you provided for the funeral of our Mother (Louise Longshore) on December 27th, 2019. Having you take the time to personally come in prior to the service to ensure everything met the standards you expect was something that made me so proud to say to others “see, my friend Bennie Smith really cares!”
The family and others made many comments on how wonderful she looked. We could not have been more pleased with her make-up, impeccable dressing and layout in the beautiful wood casket. Please pass our appreciation on to those responsible. I cannot remember all the names, but from the gentlemen who picked her up at the house on the day she passed, the directors of the funeral, Mr. Prince and his attention to details at the viewing and funeral, the Limo driver, to the administration staff, al met and exceeded our expectations. We are truly grateful to them for their part in this “home going” celebration for our Mother.
My brother and sisters and I would like to give a special “Thank You” and commendation to Mrs. Benezena Rogers. Her outstanding service in planning almost every aspect of the process was above and beyond what anyone could expect. She maintained a great sense of professionalism in the business aspects of the process while showing a genuine concern and compassion for the family’s well-being. We were blessed to have her guidance and experience in decision making and planning of every little detail to ensure things went smoothly with as little stress as possible on the family, especially me!
Thank you again Mr. Smith and Bennie Smith Funeral Home. Please don’t hesitate if there is anything I can do for you in the future.
Connie F. Longshore.
