I recently experienced a loss of a family member. I reached out to the Virginia office of Bennie Smith Funeral home. I want the public community to know that was a very wise choice. I was very satisfied with all the services that was provided. Bennie Smith and staff went OVER and BEYOND the duties I expected from start to finish.

First Smith Funeral Home and staff handled my loss like it was their own. When you handle a loss like it was your own, you always willing to give over 100%. They really empathize with my family and I.

Secondly, they were good listeners. You must be a good listener to hear what arrangements are being requested for it can be performed.

Third, they also will do all they can to make it easier, affordable, and most of all less stressful as possible.

All of the staff was on point with everything. Anytime I reached out it was always someone on call to answer any concerns or changes that might need to be made in a timely manner without any hesitation.

The embalmers always do a great job. Your loved ones keep all their features and that natural look. I viewed several of Smith’s Funeral work beside the arrangements he done for me. Truly, I can say he do an outstanding, over the top work. By doing this, in my opinion his business will always be a huge success.

There is one staff member in particular that I want to recognize and that is Mr. Micheal Kellam. He truly accommodated my needs and concerns for my funeral arrangements. He honored all my request in regards to a private viewing, he kept every detail confidential and was very professional.

Finally, they showed compassion for the family and not just what can be brought to the business. I know funeral arrangements is the last thing anyone would want to discuss but when the time comes I want to direct everyone in the right direction to Bennie Smith Funeral Home. Keep them in my mind, you will be more than satisfied.
